CAMBLEND / LEGAL

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Camblend.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Camblend mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By downloading, accessing, or using Camblend, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Camblend.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Services.

1. About Camblend

Camblend is a camera and video creation application that provides tools for capturing, importing, editing, and exporting visual content.

Depending on your device, operating system, subscription, and version of Camblend, features may include:

Certain features may only be available on compatible devices or operating systems.

We may add, modify, improve, or discontinue features over time.

2. Eligibility

You may use Camblend only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.

If you are under the age at which you can legally enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may use Camblend only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

If you use Camblend on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.

3. License to Use Camblend

Subject to these Terms, Camblend grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, access, and use Camblend for lawful personal or commercial content-creation purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of Camblend or any intellectual property associated with the Services to you.

You may not use Camblend in a manner that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create, record, import, edit, or export using Camblend.

This may include:

Using Camblend does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Camblend does not claim copyright ownership over content merely because it was created or edited using the application.

You are responsible for your content and for ensuring that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents necessary to create, record, import, edit, use, publish, or distribute it.

5. Local Storage and Processing

Camblend is designed with a local-first approach.

Your recordings, imported media, screen recordings, editing projects, and teleprompter scripts are processed locally on your device rather than uploaded to Camblend servers for media processing or storage.

Because content is stored locally, you are responsible for managing and protecting content stored on your device.

You should maintain appropriate backups of important content where necessary.

Deleting Camblend, clearing application data, losing or damaging your device, resetting your device, changing devices, operating-system behavior, insufficient storage, or other circumstances may result in the loss of locally stored projects or content.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Camblend is not responsible for loss of locally stored content resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Recording Other People

Camblend provides tools capable of recording video, audio, screens, and other content.

You are responsible for using these features lawfully.

Laws regarding recording, surveillance, privacy, publicity, and consent vary between jurisdictions.

Depending on where you are located and the circumstances, you may need permission or consent before recording:

Camblend does not determine whether a particular recording is lawful in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for obtaining any consent, authorization, or permission required by applicable law.

7. Screen Recording

Camblend may allow you to record content displayed on your device's screen.

Screen recordings may capture information from other applications or services, including:

You are responsible for determining what information is visible while recording and whether you have the right to record, use, or distribute it.

You should avoid displaying sensitive information while recording unless you intend for that information to appear in the resulting recording.

8. Third-Party Content and Intellectual Property

Camblend may allow you to import, edit, combine, record, or export content created or owned by other people.

You must have the necessary rights or permissions to use such content.

You may not use Camblend to knowingly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

This includes rights relating to:

Camblend does not grant you rights to third-party content merely because Camblend allows that content to be imported or edited.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of third-party material is legally permitted.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Camblend or use the Services for unlawful purposes.

You may not use Camblend to:

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Camblend complies with applicable laws and regulations.

10. App Permissions

Certain Camblend features require access to device capabilities such as:

You control these permissions through your device.

If you deny or revoke a required permission, the corresponding Camblend feature may not function correctly or may become unavailable.

For more information about how these permissions and your information are handled, please review the Camblend Privacy Policy.

11. Free and Premium Features

Camblend may offer both free and paid functionality.

Certain features, tools, export options, limits, or other functionality may require a paid subscription or purchase.

The features included in each offering may be displayed within Camblend or through the applicable app store.

We may change the features included in free or paid offerings from time to time.

Any change affecting an existing paid subscription will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the requirements of the platform through which the subscription was purchased.

12. Subscriptions

Camblend may offer automatically renewing subscriptions.

When you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the purchase and renewal are processed by the applicable platform.

Unless you cancel before the applicable renewal deadline, your subscription may automatically renew for another subscription period and the applicable platform may charge the payment method associated with your store account.

The price, billing period, and applicable subscription terms will be displayed before you confirm your purchase.

You are responsible for reviewing those details before subscribing.

13. Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store must generally be managed through your Apple account.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play must generally be managed through your Google Play account.

Deleting Camblend from your device does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

You must cancel your subscription through the platform through which you purchased it.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewals while allowing access to applicable paid features until the end of the already-paid subscription period, subject to the rules of the applicable app store.

14. Prices

Subscription and purchase prices may vary depending on factors such as:

The price displayed by the applicable app store at the time you confirm your purchase is the price applicable to that transaction, subject to the platform's terms.

We may change prices in the future.

Any changes to recurring subscription prices will be handled according to applicable law and the rules of the applicable app store.

15. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Camblend may occasionally offer free trials, introductory pricing, promotional subscriptions, discounts, or other offers.

Eligibility, duration, pricing, renewal terms, and other conditions may vary.

Any applicable conditions will be presented with the offer.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers may be limited to eligible users and may not be combined with other offers.

If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, the applicable terms and price will be disclosed before you confirm the subscription.

16. Refunds

Purchases and subscriptions made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to the payment, cancellation, and refund policies of the applicable platform and applicable law.

Camblend does not independently control Apple's or Google's decisions regarding refunds processed through their platforms.

If you wish to request a refund for an app-store purchase, you may need to contact the applicable platform or use the refund process provided through your store account.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Feature Availability and Device Compatibility

Not every Camblend feature will necessarily work on every device.

19. Updates

Camblend may release updates from time to time.

Updates may include:

Some updates may be required for continued use of certain features.

27. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict or terminate access to Camblend or certain Services where reasonably necessary if you:

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice before taking such action.

You may stop using Camblend at any time.

If you have an active subscription, uninstalling or ceasing to use Camblend does not automatically cancel that subscription. You must cancel it through the applicable app store.

28. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Camblend's creative-media workflow is designed to operate locally on your device. Our handling of information and device permissions is explained in our Privacy Policy available at:

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

The affected provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted.

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce that provision later.

A waiver of one provision or instance does not constitute a waiver of another provision or future instance.

These Terms, together with the Camblend Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented to you for a specific feature, purchase, subscription, or promotion, constitute the agreement between you and Camblend regarding your use of the Services.

They supersede prior agreements or understandings concerning the same subject matter, except where otherwise required by law.
